Originally brewed once a year and exclusively served in the Altstadt taproom, we brew Year Lator Doppelbock to celebrate another year of brewing traditional German beers. This doppelbock is brewed in small batches with Vienna, Munich and Abbey malts. Decoction-mashing leads to a full-bodied, smooth and very malty flavor worthy of the style originally brewed in Bavarian monasteries. And yes, we meant to spell “Lator” that way!
