As such, he wanted to brew a crowd-pleaser, and went with the easy-drinking nuance of a Dortmunder Lager. This classic, German-style beer pours deep gold with a loose white head, releasing moderate woody and peppery aromas from late-boil Spalter, Czech Saaz, and Perle hop additions. The malty sweetness with traces of caramel is balanced by spicy and earthy noble hop flavors, before moving into a clean finish with some lingering hop bite.
